John brings 29 years of automotive engineering, program and operations experience inclusive of P&L for a Fortune 500 division and running a Toyota business unit. John started at GM and continued on to Ford for a total of 16 years. He then moved over to the major Tier 1 suppliers as in GKN, Collins & Aikman and eventually Magna Steyr. John left Magna for Tesla Motors where he led the Michigan Tech Center, the vehicle development and assembly factory teams for 3 years. He holds Bachelor Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University in addition to an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Prior to joining the Board of Directors of ALTe LLC, Thomas W. LaSorda served as Vice Chairman and President of Chrysler LLC. Prior to the Cerberus LLC acquisition in August 2007, he held the position of President and CEO of DaimlerChrysler after serving as Chief Operating Officer and member of the DaimlerChrysler Board of Management. LaSorda holds an MBA (1980), a Bachelor of Arts (1977) and a Bachelor of Commerce (1977) from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Steven Landry is a recognized leader in the global automotive industry. He spent over 27 years at Chrysler LLC in various positions globally, ultimately rising to become an Executive Vice President and an Officer of Chrysler LLC during pivotal economic times. As a leader, Landry has extensive experience setting aggressive operational goals and leading management teams to achieve them. He possesses intimate knowledge of strategic and operational factors needed for sustainable, long-term enterprise value. Landry possesses an executive MBA from Michigan State University and a Bachelor degree of Business from Saint Mary’s University.
Jeff utilizes his 26 years of engineering expertise covering the nuclear and mechanical disciplines. His experience includes 11 years of EV/Hybrid expertise along with complete vehicle development with heavy emphasis on predictive simulation methods. He worked at Ford, MSX, MDI and Tesla Motors where he was the Sr. Manager of Vehicle Engineering responsible for 3 vehicles throughout his tenure there. He possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York.
Roy joined ALTe after concluding a 35 year career in investment banking at prestigious firms such as Salomon Brothers, Lehman Brothers and Seabury Group. Roy graduated from Amherst College and holds a MBA from Harvard Business School.
